An Earlimart man was arrested Friday after Tulare County sheriff's deputies say he pointed a gun at them while they were trying to apprehend him. The sheriff's department said in a news release that deputies and gang suppression detectives were sent to a home in the 400 block of North Thompson Road to conduct a probation search and serve two warrants on Rosario Ayon, 19. Ayon and his girlfriend, Lydia Acosta, 19, ran when authorities arrived.
